Every retreat we offer carries its own unique energy and intention. This retreat is devoted to the light of the heart, both the light that lives within you and the living heart of life itself. And what is very special is this retreat will.be taking place during equinox! So we have some extra planetary support.

Plant sacraments and the practice of ceremony have been used for generations as powerful tools to help us return to this innate luminosity.

They can help soften the layers that obscure our true nature and reconnect us with the wisdom, love, and wholeness that have always been present within us.

While there are healing journeys that each of us must walk individually, some forms of healing can only unfold within the embrace of community.

These ceremonies offer an opportunity to come together in authenticity, vulnerability, to support one another's growth and evolution.

Prior to the retreat, we will gather for a preparation and intention-setting call. This is an opportunity to get to know one another, ask questions, establish intentions, and enter into the prayer together before the ceremonial work begins. But to be honest, that starts as soon as you sign up.

We are so grateful that this retreat is being supported by two wonderful and skilled therapists from the local community who collectively bring more than twenty years of experience. Location: Southborough, MA. Southborough is about a 45 minute commute from Boston, and an easy 3 hour drive from Vermont.

Accommodations: There are a few bedrooms available for reservation, for a $350 additional fee. Please let us know if you are reserving a private space as they fill quickly. Otherwise we will nestle you in on our extra thick mats in the session space, or you are welcome to pitch a tent.

Preparation: After sign up we will send you recommendations on what to pack and how to prepare for the weekend, as well as a medical form.

Athena currently serves her community as a full time medicine woman. She brings 19 years of study and practice in the shamanic arts, energy work, and plant medicine to the table. She trained extensively with indigeo Shipibo teachers in the amazon jungle.

One of her primary focuses and specialties today is the beautiful tradition of plant dieta, alongside what is similar to internal family systems. She is a huge believer in miracles and the power of the human spirit.

Athena also channels a cosmic grandmother in her ceremonies. Her ceremonies are safe, loving, unique in their authenticity, and infused with many lineages of divine support.

Jason, an energy healer and shamanic herbalist, embodies the spirit of plants with his rooted and lifelong connection to the plant world. Since 2010, he's worked extensively with ayahuasca, cultivating and preparing it in Hawaii on his family’s property.

Specializing in tailor-made shamanic medicines, he addresses emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, aiming to deepen individuals' connection to the Earth.

Known for his incredible humor, heyoka spirit, and nurturing presence in ceremony, Jason strengthens the container, by holding the masculine while allowing the feminine to lead. A gifted healer, and devotee to plant wisdom.

How do I prepare?
Preparing for this lineage of medicine does entail approximately 2 weeks of monastic-style spiritual, psychological, and physical preparation. This includes a particular list of foods to eliminate from your diet, as well as certain consumptive patterns and exposures to avoid such as alcohol, drugs, porn, coffee, sugars, etc. Upon registering, you will receive a detailed guideline for your Ayahuasca preparation protocol. You can always reach out to our organizer with clarification questions.
What is the practitioner to participant ratio?
We will have 2 ceremony facilitators and an apprentice. We have space for 12 participants.
What is your refund policy?
Due to high costs of facilitating retreats, we cannot offer refunds. In the event where you can no longer come, we will place your deposit, minus an admin fee of 30%, towards future retreats or online offerings by Athena, of which there are many.
